Spring Waterfall 

22"x30"  An Original transparent watercolor.  This waterfall is near my home on a nature trail off Slayton Settlement Rd.  I spent three hours applying the masking fluid on the falling water to preserve my whites.  In transparent watercolor no white paint is used and I challenged myself to paint realistic water without resorting to white paint.  I am very happy with this painting.  It is the first of my waterfall series.

This painting won 2nd place Realistic Watercolor at the Allentown Art Festival in Buffalo 2010.
