Thank you for making the Fifteenth Annual Open House such a success!  We had a record number of people, with many new faces!

No winter classes are scheduled because Kathleen is painting full-time for the Spring Show at the Kenan Center.

Spring Watercolor Classes: Painting Your Best Watercolors with Kathleen Giles. 
Six weeks starting May 3rd and running thru June 7th.  The classes will be held at the Market St. Art Center.  The classes are for students with intermediate to advanced experience in watercolor.  Thurs. mornings from 10-12.  For more info. or to register call Kathleen at 716-795-9368.

Kenan Center Gallery,  433 Locust St. Lockport.  Opening reception Sunday, April 15th, from 2-5.   Meet the artists and enjoy wine and cheese, etc... The show runs thru May 13th. Two award winning artists with an eye for color and value.  All are invited to see a years worth of our newest works!  Both women are painting a variety of subjects, and Kathleen will have many new works from her 2011 trip to Ireland.

"Nature's Fragile Beauty"  was accepted into the "Blossom II-Art Of Flowers" show in Naples, Florida.  Feb. 9th -?

Nature's Fragile Beauty was one of the fifty paintings in the Blossom II Show to be chosen for the traveling show.  The painting will tour museums into 2012.  The painting is still available for purchase but must remain in the show until the end of the tour.

"Pink Tulips" and "Grape Pickers" were chosen for the Niagara Frontier Watercolor Society 2011 Fall show and "Pink Tulips" won an honorable mention. 

"Spring Waterfall" was accepted into the International Northeast Watercolor Society Show in Connecticut in 2010.

Two paintings are in the Kansas Watercolor Society Show in Wichita, Kansas.  Nov.19th-Jan.2, 2011.
